Torre San Gennaro is a small holiday village popular with the local Italians. There is a nice sandy bay with the cafe-bar-pizzeria “Olindo” right on the beach. New Enjoy, cafe-bar/pizzeria is just across the square from the beach. The beach is sandy, safe for children and, as you walk south along the beach it is sheltered by dunes. During the high season, July and August, you will often find there is dancing in the square in the evenings.
There is also a supermarket, a fish shop and a few market stalls in the high season. Casalabanca and Zoki restaurants are open at lunchtimes and in the evenings in the high season.
There is a pedestrian and cycle path that heads south from Torre San Gennaro towards the Dune Pizzeria and beach lido, a small grocery shop and then opens out into a small piazza, Here you will find the best fish and seafood restaurant in the area.
